ANCA
Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to take part in the 11th International ANCA and Vasculitis Workshop which is to be held in Prague, a city well-known for its historical and cultural tradition, on October 2-5, 2003.
ANCA and Vasculitis Workshop is co-organized by the Czech Society of Nephrology and is held under the auspices of the 1st and 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, the oldest University north of the Alps and east of the Rhine. The University and its Medical Faculty was founded by the Czech king and Roman emperor Charles IV on April 7, 1348.
The meeting is supported also by the European League against Rheumatism and the International Society of Nephrology.
The main topics of the workshop will be the etiology and pathogenesis of vasculitis, the current place of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) in the diagnostics and monitoring of disease activity and clinical studies in vasculitis. Postgraduate course will be organized on October 5, 2003.
We are convinced that the ANCA and Vasculitis Workshop will attract to Prague many scientists and clinicians not only to exchange new scientific information, but also to perceive the charm of our magic city.
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, the Dean of the 1st and 2nd Medical Faculty and the Czech Society of Nephrology, we would like to invite you to join us in Prague in early October 2003.
